Denise Frank is a self-taught artist from the Netherlands, born in 1982.

Although she was highly creative from a young age, for more than forty years she believed she could not truly paint or draw and that she lacked artistic talent. This perception changed after a profound spiritual experience, which led her to pursue art in 2023 and awakened a deep belief in her creative potential. In order to step out of a life defined by struggle, she dedicated the entire year of 2024 to inner healing and to fully committing herself to learning how to paint.

Her work is characterized by bold colors and figurative, whimsical feminine portraits and figures. Working primarily with acrylics, she values their fast-drying nature, which allows her to intuitively translate ideas onto the canvas as they arise. Mixed media plays an important role in her process, and she frequently incorporates gold details and sparkling elements, creating tactile, luminous works that invite close engagement.

Through figurative painting, Denise explores themes of identity, femininity, and self-reconnection. Her work creates a bridge to the inner child, which she sees as an essential element of emotional healing and spiritual reconnection, both for herself and for her collectors.

Alongside her artistic practice, Denise undertook an extensive journey of self-inquiry. She explored identity shifting and manifestation through psychology, neuroscience, quantum physics, and spiritual and religious traditions. It was in the intersection of these fields that she rediscovered herself and stepped fully into her artist identity.

In 2025, she made her work public with the intention of sharing both her art and the insights gained through her healing journey. With a deep passion for helping others, she now shares her knowledge to inspire fellow creatives to step into their authentic artist identity and to live their dream artist life, which she believes is a natural expression of their true purpose.
